INGREDIENTS

  • 3 medium eggs, whole, raw
  • 60 g of the lightest soft cheese Philadelphia, 3 tbsp
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 4 sprays Cooking spray with controlled calorie content
  • 4 slices of thin ham
  • 100 g light mozzarella
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon basil, fresh

Instruction

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 150°C, fan to 130°C, gas setting 2.

Step 2

Separate the eggs and put the yolks and whites in separate bowls. Mix the low-fat cream cheese into the yolks, season and set aside.

Step 3

Add cream of tartar to the egg whites and beat until stiff.

Step 4

Carefully fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mixture to combine and place 8 equal pieces on a baking sheet misted with calorie controlled cooking spray.

Step 5

Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Step 6

To serve, sandwich 2 loaves of bread with 1 slice of lean ham, 25g of low-fat mozzarella, tomato slices and fresh basil leaves and seasoning.

Step 7
