On Friday, Chrissie Swan showed off her 90kg weight loss in activewear as she trained for a 300km charity walk.

Chrissie Swan looks fit and determined as she hits the steps for her charity walk in Melbourne after dramatic weight loss during the Covid lockdown.

On Friday, the radio host, 48, donned an all-black STAX activewear set, which included tights and a long-sleeved zip-up shirt.

She kept her brown hair down and blowing in the wind as she toted a Coles shopping bag and a rucksack with mustard in her side pocket.

The TV presenter had her headphones plugged in as she went to raise funds for the Fred Hollows Foundation, passing some shops and her local Sussan along the way.

It comes after Chrissie lost a lot of weight starting in early 2020 during the lockdown.

The Masked Singer judge, who has lost 90kg since starting her journey, previously credited her slimming down to daily walks and giving up alcohol.

Chrissie recently decided not to discuss her weight loss publicly anymore.

“I think the reason I’m not talking about anything now is because I’ve been doing it for the last 20 years,” she told Stellar magazine in July.

“I was immersed in such a toxic environment and it didn’t feel good. And it didn’t help me and it didn’t help anyone else. And it just promotes interest in the female body, which is irrelevant,” she added.

Chrissie briefly touched on her weight loss in an interview with The Australian Women’s Weekly earlier this year.

She said the “huge” lifestyle changes she had made over the previous 12 months had improved her life in many ways.

“I’m not going to talk about the size of my a**e. I’m not going to tell you what I dream of each day. Because I read those stories and I feel bad about myself,” she told the magazine.

Chrissie continued to achieve her fitness goals by setting a new goal: to walk 300km in a month for the Fred Hollows Foundation.

Last week she announced she would be “pounding the pavement” every day in August to raise money for a blindness charity.

‘I’ll do it again! It’s August and that means I’ll be walking 300km to restore sight to those who can prevent blindness,” she wrote on Instagram.

‘It only takes $25 to restore someone’s sight. This is amazing to me! Will you get behind me? Last year we raised over $80,000 (that’s over 3,200 people who can see again thanks to you!?) I’m aiming for $100,000 this year!’

She concluded: “Whatever you can save – there’s a link in my bio. I will keep you up to date. Let’s do it!’

Chrissie took part in the challenge last year, initially aiming for 150km and later extending her target to 300km.

According to an Instagram post last year, she drove more than 310 km and told her followers that the company offered to match her donations for an additional $15,000.
